Dancing With The Stars: Brooke Burke Thinks Hosting Will Be Easier Than Competing

Brooke Burke, the new co-host for ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars, is no stranger to the DWTS stage: she competed and won during the show’s seventh season. Recently signed on for hosting duties, Brooke Burke said her new gig will be much easier than her dancing days. The tenth season of ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars premieres in just a few days (on Monday, March 22nd) and one person is especially looking forward to it: new co-host, Brooke Burke. The Dancing With the Stars vet (she won in season 7) is thrilled about her new hosting duties and expects that being on the other side of the ABC dancing competition will be much easier. “I’m excited to spend some time with the dancers [and] to get back to the ballroom,†the season 7 winner told People magazine. “And this time it will actually be a lot easier, which is a hard [thing] to say with live television.â€
Burke’s co-host, Tom Bergeron, is thrilled about the new addition to ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars. ”Brooke Burke, she’s a new co-host but it feels like she’s part of the family. She won the contest. I couldn’t be happier. I’m missing Samantha [Harris] because she was my partner for 8 of the 9 seasons we’ve done. But boy I think we’ve done ourselves proud with Brooke,†he says.
As for which competitor might win this season of ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars, Burke puts her money on Kate Gosselin saying if she can handle eight kids, she can “handle anything in the world.” As for whether or not any of the celebrities and dance pros might be getting romantically connected, Burke says, “It’s all about the dance!”
