Dancing With The Stars: Kelly Osbourne Defends Kate Gosselin
March 27, 2010 09:20 AM by Nancy Floyd

Amid rumors of diva-like behavior on the set of ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars, Kate Gosselin has gained the approval of an unusual supporter: former DWTS competitor, Kelly Osbourne. Osbourne recently spoke out on Kate’s behalf telling everyone to “give her a break.” Keep reading for more details on Osborne’s defense of Gosselin and which celebrity she’s rooting for on this season of ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars…
Kelly Osbourne has some unsolicited advice for Kate Gosselin haters everywhere: give the mom a break! “Yeah, it’s going to be hard because she has eight kids, but at the same time, people really need to give her a break,” Osbourne says. She also defends the Jon & Kate plus 8 star’s decision to join the cast of ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars. ”She has eight kids to feed, remember that. And if she is going to take a job, why not do one that is fun? She is going to have a blast!” Osbourne says.
Osbourne, a former competitor on ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars herself, thinks it was a smart move for Gosselin to join the show. ”I think she has got a good chance of winning,” Osbourne says. That doesn’t necessarily mean that she’s rooting for the Jon & Kate plus 8 star, though. Her loyalties strictly lie with her former partner on the show: Louis Van Amstel. ”But I am team Louis [Van Amstel] and Neicy Nash. I love her. She is great!” Osbourne adds.
