Last night on Dancing With the Stars, each of the stars had a story to tell. Some fairy tales turned into nightmares while risks turned into rewards. For most, the story ended happily ever after while for one couple it just ended. Did your favorite go home?
Dancing With the Stars began with host Tom Bergeron announcing the first couples safe to dance again next week. They were Aiden and Edyta and Erin and Maks. Judge Len Goodman gave his insights into the stars and their routines from last night complimenting the good and criticizing the bad. He may be crotchety, but he is always bang on with his post-show analysis! The judges then chose Evan and Anna to perform their Quickstep dance routine from last evening. Evan is growing on me and would more so, if he just let loose a little bit.
Performing two of her hits was multimedia superstar Reba McEntrye. Her first song was a fan favorite I Want a Cowboy, accompanied by pros Val Chmerkovskiy, Maks Chmerkovskiy, Snejana Petrova and Edyta Sliwinska. Reba is still so beautiful and her voice so sweet…pure country.
Once again the hosts of Dancing With the Stars, Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke revealed the results of last night’s vote and Niecy and Louis were given the thumbs up from the viewers.
Dance pro and musician Mark Ballas, together with three other musicians, then played an acoustic paso doble arrangement of Malaguea. They were accompanied on the dance floor by Derek Hough and Chelsie Hightower. Derek and Chelsie’s movements matched the beat of the song perfectly. This would be one dance to take to the road in their live show.
Brooke interviewed the stars that were safe, Evan, Niecy and Erin. Niecy says she cannot wait for a dance where she can put her jiggly parts to use and she is not sure that her Rumba next week will be it.
Next Monday on Dancing With the Stars there will be a double score showdown! With each dance given two scores; one score for technique and one for performance. The judges are also requesting very specific moves that they want to see performed. Len said that Season 10 is turning into season tension! This is going to be a very challenging test for the dancers who return next week.
The next couple that had been saved was Nicole and Derek and after a break Reba came back out to sing the biggest chart hit of her career, Consider Me Gone. Accompanying her on the dance floor were former series pros Lacey Schwimmer and Dmitry Chaplin.
The Bachelor‘s beauty, Melissa Rycroft returned to interview the audience after the dances last night and gave some insights into what goes on behind the scenes of Dancing With The Stars. She loved being in the action again.
Two more couples were told where they stand on Dancing With the Stars and the first was Evan and Anna and then Chad and Cheryl…they were safe.
Brooke Burke interviewed more of the dancers who had been let of the hook from elimination and according to Chad, next week he will be making love on the dance floor. Tom Bergeron has warned the viewers that next week the show will be pay per view! Chad should have fun with the Rumba dance of love next week as he can continue his romantic pursuit of Cheryl Burke. He did give her a diamond ring after all!
Another couple was told they were safe and it was Pamela and Damien. The Bachelor‘s Jake and Chelsie, Buzz and Ashly and Kate and Tony were the last three couples standing. Hmmm, could it be Kate going home tonight? I sure hoped so! No offense Kate, but your dancing is very difficult to watch. It is like seeing my kids pretend dance with their Barbie dolls. We have had much fun at my dancing classes since your joined dancing With the Stars and our new motto is…”Don’t dance like Kate!”
Next the hosts finally revealed the couples in the bottom two on Dancing With the Stars as Buzz and Ashly and Jake and Chelsie??? Kate and Tony were safe??? Gasp, puke and then total shock on my end! The couple that was eliminated was Buzz and Ashly. Well I knew he would be on the chopping block, but come on…he doesn’t spin peg legged, nor does he walk through his routines? Kate should have gone home tonight!
