Not surprisingly, Heidi Montag is stirring up more drama at MTV‘s The Hills. Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, alleges that Heidi Montag and husband, Spencer Pratt, are considering taking legal action against the show’s creator, Adam DiVello, on sexual assault charges. Keep reading for more details on Heidi’s claims, what MTV has to say about the accusation, and how former star, Lauren Conrad, feels about the whole thing…
The new season of MTV‘s The Hills, set to air on April 27th, will be the final season for the show, but there seems to be plenty of drama going on behind-the-scenes to last a lifetime. Most recently, Heidi Montag is involved in a sexual assault accusation involving the show’s creator, Adam DiVello.
According to celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, The Hills creator, Adam DiVello, touched Heidi Montag inappropriately on her buttocks and lower back after she finished her ten cosmetic surgery procedures. Hilton claims, ”Adam can get away with that with the Audrinas and Kristins of reality TV but not with Heidi! He is a pervert and a creep. The other girls don’t feel they can’t defend themselves because they are afraid they will lose their job if they talk about the man’s workplace behavior. Heidi will not tolerate sexual assault in the workplace!” Hilton also claims that an insider told him that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt “are very close to bringing legal action against the show.”
Lauren Conrad, former star of MTV‘s The Hills, thinks the claims are ridiculous. ”Similar to most of my fellow MTV cast mates, I am in utter shock at the allegations made against Adam DiVello,” she said in a statement. “Not only are they completely absurd, but they are 100 percent without merit. Adam is a true professional and a wonderful person to work for.” Hilton also claims that DiVello made advances against Conrad which she denies.
It seems that MTV is also standing behind DiVello on this one. A rep for the network says, “We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit. Adam not only created The Hills and The City, launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment.”
