There’s no doubt that American Idol alum Carrie Underwood is going to make a stunning bride, but the star has no plans of becoming a bridezilla. As she plans her upcoming wedding to professional hockey player fiance, Mike Fisher, the singer says she’s not worried about the tiny details of her big day. ”We’re not people who stress about anything,” Underwood, 27, says about planning the nuptials with Fisher. “We just focus on a few of the main things, and everything is like, whatever.”
The couple has clearly planned some of the bigger details and Carrie Underwood hasn’t been shy about sharing that info with the press. The American Idol champion has been open about her dress ideas, her canine ring bearer, and her decision to opt for cupcakes over traditional wedding cake, but there are some things she couldn’t care less about. ”I don’t care what color napkins are on the table. I don’t care. We’re just both really laid back. Family, food and fun, that’s all we really need. And, oh yeah, get married,” Underwood says.
With great success in both her personal and professional life, Carrie Underwood is grateful about all that she’s been given. During her acceptance speech last night at the Country Music Awards, the American Idol alum said, ”I couldn’t ask for anything else in my whole life. So many things have been happening and being on tour and planning a wedding. Nights like this make life wonderful.”
