Fans ofÂ MTV‘sÂ The Hills andÂ The City have watched Whitney Port find professional success working in fashion and public relations, while overcoming her share of personal obstacles as well. The reality TV star is now sharing her wisdom on life, love, friendship, and fashion in her new book, True Whit. The book is due in 2011 from It Books. The publisher describes the advice tome as aÂ ”conversational, fun, and candid guide for girls looking to start out [in life] with style.”
“Being a twenty-something can be a difficult phase,” saysÂ The City star. “There are so many questions, and I wanted to write about my experiences for anyone who needs help navigating through life.”Â Port will share her personal stories, experience, advice, and anecdotes in the book.
True Whit will include fashion and beauty tips, dating advice, and decorating techniques. Among the topics covered in the book are how to get rid of puffy eyes, hosting a great party, deciding what to wear on a date, and decorating a small space with great style.Â ”It’s a really fun and fresh how-to-guide where I can share anecdotes that I’ve learned from both work and my personal life,” Port says.
