Last night on Dancing With the Stars, the six stars were at the top of their game, personal bests were shattered and Evan won the race to perfection. Only four votes were the deciding factor of who went home. Was there a shocking elimination tonight?
The first results of the night were announced and the first couple in the bottom two was Erin and Maks while Nicole and Derek were safe. The remaining four couples would soon find out where they stood in the competition, right after judge Len Goodman gave his critique of last night’s dances. He commented about Evan’s first 30 of the season and the fact that it was the first time that he had given anyone a 10.
The judges chose team Gaga’s Cha Cha as the encore dance for this evening. Chelsie Hightower had to step in for Pamela as she was injured today during rehearsal. It was even more sexy than last night’s performance.
The special guest was the multi-platinum selling band Train singing Hey Soul Sister. They were accompanied by the pro dancers.
At the bottom of the leader board last night was Niecy and Louis and at the top was Nicole and Derek and Evan and Anna who tied for first place. Host Tom Bergeron called out Evan and Anna and Chad and Cheryl and told Evan and Anna that they were safe, but Chad and Cheryl Burke were in jeopardy tonight. Brooke Burke talked to Pamela and asked her how she was doing. She will be ready to dance again next week as the doctor told her just to rest her ankle for a few days.
More results took place on Dancing With the Stars with the two remaining couples Pamela and Damian and Niecy and Louis. The next couple safe was Niecy and Louis which meant that Pamela and Damian were still in jeopardy.
Cirque de Soleil gave a breathtaking tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis in their performance Viva La Elvis. It was amazing, especially the lifts in the dance. Past Dancing With the Stars dancer, Priscilla Presley was in the audience as a guest tonight.
Special guest Train returned and sang Drops of Jupiter accompanied by pro dancers Karina and Louis, then Tom Bergeron announced that millions of people voted last night and tonight the viewers were sending home Pamela and Damian. No surprise there folks! Erin and Maks were happy, especially since it was Erin’s birthday tonight.
