Gordon Ramsay is back tonight on a brand new episode of Kitchen Nightmares on FOX. This week, Gordon heads to Miami, Fl to help the failing Fleming restaurant, which used to be known for it’s Danish cuisine. But with any owner unwilling to accept changes and a restaurant that seems to attract the elderly only, will Gordon Ramsay be able to turn this place around?
Gordon Ramsay is headed to Fleming’s restaurant tonight on Kitchen Nightmares on FOX. While he shows up with his translator in hand, he is shocked to find the owners are not Danish at all. Thinking maybe the chef is Danish, Gordon is shocked to learn that he is actually Cuban…hmm Gordon is now stumped, why all the Danish food on the menu? Well that’s a simple one, because the new owners are so afraid of changing anything that they have left the original owner’s menu up for the past seven plus years. Suzanne, one of the owners admits that her husband, Andy is unwilling to make changes and she cannot seem to figure out why.
So, Gordon Ramsay decides to try the food anyway and is not shocked when it is horribly bland. He has to wonder why a Cuban chef would be serving this versus good ole Cuban cuisine with flare. Gordon proves his point tonight on Kitchen Nightmares on FOX as he invites some diners in, and not the regular senior citizens to come and taste the Danish menu. He watches after dish after is returned to the kitchen and just about loses it when he inspects the fridge. In there, he finds thawing meat sitting on a tray with a precooked duck, in which the duck is covered with raw meat blood, contaminating the duck. He orders the restaurant to remove all the duck, even from the diners who are eating it at the moment.
The next day on Kitchen Nightmares on FOX, Gordon Ramsay decides that the old, out of date decor must go, and he revamps the entire place, menu included. Orlando, the chef is thrilled to see the new exciting menu. As they head for relaunch night, Gordon decides to have a little bathing suit fashion show to attract a younger, hipper crowd which he does successfully. At the relaunch, things seems to be going smoothly until one of the burners on the stove catches on fire. Gordon takes the entire staff outside after dinner service to show them the new kitchen equipment he is providing them with! He leaves letting the staff of Fleming’s know that they now have all the tools they need to be successful!
