Wife Swap: Beauvais And Clayton Families

Tonight on a brand new episode of Wife Swap on ABC we’ll meet the Beauvais and Clayton families. With one of the families being extremely successful, and the other barely scraping by, there is sure to be drama and excitement! Keep reading for all the details!
First up on Wife Swap on ABC, we meet the Beauvais Family. Mom, Dina believes that dreams come true and all she has to do is use her positive energy to “manifest” anything she wants. She and her husband, Mark are successful inventors and entrepreneurs who have 2 children, live in a beautiful, huge home and practice healthy eating. Dina believes that look good brings success. She keeps herself and her family fit and she has gone as far as having her makeup tattooed on her face!
Then we meet the Clayton Family on Wife Swap on ABC. Mom, Cher and Dad, Steve live in an 800 square foot trailer with their two boys. The family is struggling financially as Steve is unemployed and the economy in their area is not looking up. Cher is extremely overweight does care what her family eats as long as they are happy. Cher believes her family comes before housework, and while her house may be messy, her family gets alot of quality time together.
During the swap it is clear that Cher is not going to do well in Dina’s home. Cher cannot stand the lack of quality time, or the fact that Dina spends so much time “inventing” versus spending time with her kids. When Mark tries to get Cher to make a commercial as Dina does, Cher mocks him by coming out with makeup all over her face like a clown, stating how fake his wife is. Mark makes some efforts to get Cher to see what they do and why they do it, but it is clear that Cher is hung up thinking Mark and Dina are trying to market their expensive products to the poor folks like herself. During her rules, she takes Mark out and embarrasses him about how he is trying to rip people off. While I can see why she would be hung up on this, I have to wonder if part of it stemmed from all Mark’s comments about her health and weight.
In the Clayton household on Wife Swap on ABC Dina is disgusted by the mess and lack of healthy eating habits. She makes Steve and his boys all get haircuts so that they will “be a better me” as she puts it and so that Steve may have an easier time finding a job. During his rules, he makes her go to a food kitchen with him and the boys for a meal, which disgusted her and she pretty much tells them that they can change their situation. During her rules, she takes Steve back to the food kitchen to do a presentation, but he walks out telling her these people cannot afford her products.
At the table meeting on Wife Swap on ABC, the sparks start to fly between Mark and Cher, but they quickly die down as Dina begins to sympathize with Cher. After the swap, Cher and Steve start working on his job situation by trying to pick up extra work. In the Beauvais household, the family starts spending more quality time together, and they even put their huge house up for sale!
