Celebrity Apprentice: Renovations

Celebrity Apprentice on NBC is back tonight as Donald Trump gives the remaining six contestants the daunting task of dealing with apartment renovations. With some team members switching teams, and some creative differences, which one of these teams would pull off the win this week?
After last week’s fiasco between Sharon, Maria and our hunky The Biggest Loser chef, Curtis on Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, Donald Trump decided to spice things up and take Bret and put him on team Tenacity, while moving Curtis back to Rocksolid with Sharon & Maria. Curtis did not seem to mind since his thought was that they didn’t really know him or work with him to dislike him. The girls were not thrilled by this news,more so Maria, but they decided they had no choice but to suck it up and try make the best of it.
Then Donald Trump brought in his good friend, and apartment guru who would be joining he and Donald Jr in overseeing the next task: Renovating a two bedroom apartment. Ah, easy enough…well, until Mr Trump told them they would also need to make sure they were boosting the apartment’s value and that they would need to choose one room to turn into a “celebrity” room, giving it a different feel than the rest of the place. They would be judged by celebrity design experts and the winning team’s project manager would get $20k for their charity. The project managers this week would be Holly, much to her dismay for Tenacity, and Sharon for Rocksolid due to her extraordinary fashion sense.
On team Rocksolid this week on Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, Sharon and Curtis took over most of the decorating as they referred to Maria as having a “truck stop” fashion sense. They decided to go with the look of clean lines and throw in some expensive furnishings. Curtis and Sharon both were able to get well over $100k worth of donated furnishing for the apartment, while Maria did alot of painting back at the home. Due to all of their shopping, their time was running short and all three of them called in some friends to come and help them finish painting. Their celebrity room, however was a pretty basic media room in my opinion and did not stand out, but alas that would be for the judges to decide. Curtis vowed to make the girls like him by the end of the show, and by the time they hit the boardroom, they did.
On team Tenacity this week on Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, the new found team members decided to go with a New York zen style apartment and just let Cyndi run wild with the celebrity room. Bret had a last minute gig, so most of it was Cyndi and Holly. Believe it or not, they did get along fairly well tonight, aside from a few creative differences in which Holly allowed Cyndi to use her eccentric taste in the celebrity room. Their celebrity room was rocking with Cyndi’s furnishings and red walls all around…..she even had patent leather couches in there! The rest of their apartment seemed a bit dull, but it sparked up just a tad when Bret came back with tons of pictures of New York for the walls. So even though he wasn’t there the entire time, Bret still came through as usual!
Finally, it was time for the boardroom on Celebrity Apprentice on NBC and Donald Trump announced that although the judges loved Cyndi’s celebrity room better than anything else, they had to choose based on the entire apartment and they thought that overall Rocksolid did a better job. Mr Trump’s real estate guru and friend ended up giving another $20k so that now Sharon would be able to give $40k to her charity. Finally, a win for Sharon, she was complete beside herself and both she & Maria then declared that they now loved Curtis, and Sharon even smooched him, lucky gal!
But, the excitement was quickly over as now it was time to fire someone. Donald Trump seemed to lay into Bret about being as energetic or aggressive as Holly and Cyndi, since you can imagine how these two were bickering and throwing one another under the bus. For a while there I thought Bret would be fired, but he finally spoke with as much knowledge as he could being he was not there the entire time. Donald Trump was thinking about firing Holly since she was the project manager, but then Cyndi slipped up and mentioned that her celebrity room color was actually Holly’s idea. So much for honesty because that honesty got Cyndi a ticket home this week. Sorry to see you go Cyndi, we will miss your fire and excitement!
