It appears that the air is not yet clear between The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck and ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars competitor, Erin Andrews. After Hasselbeck criticized Andrews’ costume choices on the dance competition, the talk show host publicly apologized and said she reached out to Andrews privately as well. Andrews, however, claims that she’s never spoken to The View star and doesn’t really care to…
Another week, another drama between Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Erin Andrews. Last week, Hasselbeck criticized Andrews’ wardrobe on ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars in light of her recent legal battles with a Peeping Tom who posted nude video of the ESPN star online. Andrews was “upset” about the comments and called them “a slap in the face,” but Hasselbeck quickly recanted and publicly apologized on her talk show. Hasselbeck also claimed she had reached out to Andrews to apologize privately, a conversation that Andrews says never occurred.
“I didn’t speak with her, no. I never talked to her,” Andrews said, adding that she’s “dealt” with the comments. “I’m moving on. I’m tired of talking about it. It’s a new week.” Andrews was, however, grateful to her Dancing With the Stars‘ partner (and possible love interest), Maksim Chmerkovskiy for coming to her defense and standing up for her. (He called the remarks “unnecessary and insensitive” and said if Hasselbeck had an issue with the costumes, she should take it up with him). “It was really nice to have Maks stick up for me and the entire cast and a lot of the media. We got a ton of support,” Andrews said.
