The 13th time’s a charm for America’s Next Top Model winner, Krista White. After auditioning for the shows twelve seasons in a row, Krista was finally crowned the winner of the reality modeling competition. Although she seemed like a shoo-in for the title, Krista says she never expected to win and still feels “really regular.” Keep reading for more details on what Krista has been doing since filming wrapped and what’s next for the new Cover Girl…
Krista White is the most recent winner of America’s Next Top Model, crowned the champion of cycle 14 on last Wednesday’s episode. It’s actually been five months since the finale was filmed, but life hasn’t changed much for the 25-year old Arkansas clothing store manager. “I still feel really, really regular,†she says. “As soon as I came back from New Zealand, I went right back into going to work. I still feel like myself, so going back to work was a breeze. I was still being the boss like I normally would.â€
Now that the cat’s out of the bag though and Krista’s victory on America’s Next Top Model is public knowledge, things are about to change for the model. “I can’t wait to walk in and see my face next to the makeup, which is going to be so fun!†she says about her upcoming CoverGirl modeling deal. “I might pass by myself. Everybody goes in Walmart.â€
Although it seemed like Krista was the obvious choice to win America’s Next Top Model, especially after securing the best photo for the final three weeks of competition, she had her doubts about winning.  “I could think of a reason for everybody to win but myself,†she says. “Even when it got down to Raina and me, I was like … she’s just as great and her face is undeniable, so this is going be really difficult.â€
She edged out Raina–and the rest of the competition–for the title of  America’s Next Top Model, which includes a deal with Wilhemina Models in addition to the CoverGirl contract. Now that her victory is no longer a secret, Krista has big plans for her future, which include acting, mentoring, and possibly becoming a talk show host “Tyra’s leaving and Oprah‘s [going], so why not me?†she jokes.
