Tonight on the one hundredth elimination show episode of Dancing With the Stars we found out who was going on to the finals next week. With only one week before the glitter ball of glory is presented, who do you think went home tonight?
Tom Bergeron began the show by announcing the first star to make it through to the finals this week and it was Evan and Anna!
The show then went on to present Len’s weekly review of all of the dancers. He loved Nicole’s dances and even thought that Chad was a revelation with his Waltz last night. During the Latin round he thought that Nicole earned her spot in the finals and that Evan’s Paso doble dominated the round.
The encore dance tonight on Dancing With the Stars was Evan and Anna’s Paso doble. Again the audience was on their feet. Tonight the viewers got a better chance to see where the professional dancers have come from as Dancing With the Stars presented the pros bios.
Next, Sarah Mclachlan came out and performed a two song medley which began with her hit song Angel and finished with her new single Loving You Is Easy. She was accompanied by the pro dancers Anna, Jonathan, D’Mitry, Kim, Lacey and Damian. Her voice sends chills up my spine and she still has it.
The Design-a-dance this year was performed by past stars Melissa Rycroft and Joey Fatone and the song was Rock and Roll by Kiss.
The College Dance off returned for the second week with dancers from Rutgers University and Utah Valley University. Rutgers was up first and their score was 21. Up next was The Utah Valley University. Utah Valley received 29 for their dance.
Miley Cyrus then made her latest television debut of her newest single Can’t Be Tamed. Her new album comes out June 22. This girl has grown up folks!
Back to the fate of the semi-finalists…the next couple in the finals was Nicole and Derek! Only one more couple would be joining them.
Tonight, the final couple moving on to the finals next week was Erin and Maks. Chad and Cheryl Burke were going home.
