Tonight was the season finale of The Biggest Loser on NBC. Which contestant did America vote to be in the final three? And which one of the remaining contestants would take home the $250k prize and the title of The Biggest Loser? Keep reading for all the details!

The season finale of The Biggest Loser on NBC kicked off tonight with the results of America’s votes after last week’s show. Koli and
Daris were fighting for the final spot tonight. Even after last week’s disappointing splurging, America voted Daris as the final contestant to join Michael and Ashley. Koli was not out yet though, as he still had a chance at the $100k at home prize.

Next up on The Biggest Loser on NBC season finale, Shay was brought back for her subway challenge. Last season, Subway offered her $1k for every pound she lost from the time she left the ranch until the finale tonight. Not only did she look great, but she won $52k for losing 52 pounds. Jared came out with a check for her, but he had another surprise up his sleeve: Subway was going to double the check if she would do a marathon with him by the end of the year. Of course she said yes, who wouldn’t! Can’t wait to hear how she makes out and see how much more she progresses.

So it was finally time for the at home challenge on the season finale of The Biggest Loser on NBC, where the eliminated contestants would come back for the chance at $100k. From the start, Sherry had set the bar high weighing in at 119 pounds with a 48% loss. The contestants came and went without anyone coming near her percentage….that was until Darrell stepped on scale. Darrell had lost an amazing 189 pounds which pushed Sherry out of the top spot in which he was now in. Then the three remaining contestants came up to be weighed in. Neither Cheryl nor Sam could beat Darrell’s record, but then it was Koli’s turn. Koli hopped on the scale and wound up losing 215 pounds, making him the winner of the challenge and the $100k. So he came out a winner even if it wasn’t the grand prize!

As Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper watched anxiously, it was time to weigh in the three finalists. First up was Daris who weighed in at 178 pounds, which meant he lost a total of 168 pounds and 48.55%. Next up was Ashley who weighed in at 191 pounds for a total loss of 183 pounds and 48.93%. Last but not least it was time for Michael who weighed in at 262 for a loss of 264 pounds and 50.19%. That meant that not only did Michael break every record for The Biggest Loser thus far, he also won the $250k and the title of The Biggest Loser! Congratulations to Michael, it was a victory very well earned and you made us proud watching you all season!

Ironically enough, out of the final four on this season of The Biggest Loser on NBC, it was Koli who had shed the highest percentage of weight loss at 215 pounds or 53.34%. Now, had Koli not gotten voted off by America, he would have been crowned The Biggest Loser, so I am sure he has got to be fired up about this. Do you think Koli got a raw deal or do you think his cocky attitude killed it for him? Share your thoughts with us at the Reality TV Magazine message boards!

That wraps up this season of The Biggest Loser on NBC, but it’ll be back in the fall.
