This week on The Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky went to new heights with Roberto, made out with about six guys for a Barenaked Ladies music video shoot, sympathized with a gimpy wrestler, and sent Hunter packing. The star of the ABC reality dating show blogs about this week’s episode in which the drama and romance went to a new level. Keep reading for more behind-the-scenes details on each of Ali’s dates…

On this week’s episode of ABC‘s The Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky reduced the competition from 14 bachelors to 11. Her two individual dates were drastically different and the steamy group date stirred up some jealousy among the men. The first guy to grab Ali’s attention this week was Roberto, who seems to be wooing her every time they’re together. Roberto received the first impression rose on night one and finally had an opportunity to spend some alone time with The Bachelorette. The pair took a private helicopter to their adventurous date: tightrope walking between two skyscrapers in downtown LA before sharing a rooftop dinner.

“I am a girl who loves adventure,” Ali writes. “Yes, walking a tightrope 20 stories in the air 100 feet between two buildings seems really scary, but honestly it wasn’t. It was fun! I think I owe that to Roberto. He and I actually salsa danced on the tightrope. We weren’t scared! We were just playing around and enjoying the experience.” After their playful time on the tightrope, things got more serious and romantic for The Bachelorette and her beau. ”When we made it to the other side, we watched the sunset and then danced while Roberto sang softly into my ear. It was incredibly romantic. Cuddling up with him after dinner felt very natural,” Ali says.

After sharing a romantic night with Roberto, Ali Fedotowsky and several of the guys went on a once-in-a-lifetime group date to film scenes for a Barenaked Ladies music video. “The group date this week was a blast! There was a lot of kissing in my scenes which made things really awkward,” Ali blogs. One of the scenes that made the rest of the gang particularly uncomfortable was Ali’s makeout session with Kirk in the bed. “During my scene with Kirk, I actually asked the guys to leave the room because I wanted to be respectful and not make them feel uncomfortable. I never would have kissed Kirk with all the guys watching,” Ali says. “However, I guess some of the guys must have peaked at some point because they obviously saw something. But this was a scene and we were acting — the real kiss came later in the hot tub.”

Ali’s next one-on-one date with Hunter didn’t go nearly as well and she sent him home at the end. “My date with Hunter was really difficult for me to figure out. I liked him and he seemed like a great guy but I didn’t feel like we really had any chemistry,” she writes about her decision not to give him a rose.

Of course, like any episode of ABC‘s The Bachelorette, there was more drama to be had. Professional wrestler Justin (aka Rated R), already the focus of sincerity speculation, stirred up even more controversy in the house when he snuck away and walked on crutches down to Ali’s mansion. The grand gesture seemed to work on Ali, until she saw the footage from the show.  ”I can’t believe all the things Justin was saying to the guys. I had no idea he was dropping hints about coming up to my house without actually telling the guys. Not so cool,” she says. “I felt so bad when I let that slip to Roberto at the rose ceremony. I really didn’t want to make things harder on Justin, but it looks like he wasn’t being too nice to the guys so I don’t feel as bad anymore,” Ali says.

One other thing that wasn’t seen on the episode was the intense game of Flip Cup between Ali and Chris L. “You heard Chris L. and I talk about how we like to play flip cup (yes, I still like to play a silly college game every once in awhile), but what you didn’t see is our actual game of flip cup,” Ali says. “Chris said he was good so I challenged him right on the spot. Wonder who won? Yup, I did.  Sorry to call you out, Chris, but I just had to. Better luck next time.”
