Hell’s Kitchen: Jamie Bisoulis Exclusive Interview

Last night on Hell’s Kitchen on FOX Jamie Bisoulis was the next victim of Gordon Ramsay‘s chopping block as she was eliminated for her lack of all but passion in the kitchen. Today, Jamie sat down to chat with us about her experience on the show and what the future holds for her. Keep reading for all the details!
Even though she was eliminated from Hell’s Kitchen, Jamie Bisoulis remains positive and upbeat, here is what she wanted to share with her fans.
RTVM: Did you think you would be eliminated last night?
Jamie Bisoulis: No, I thought for sure I would be around for the finale. I never threw anyone under the bus, kept to myself and did what I was supposed to do. I guess my anti drama did not go over well on Hell’s Kitchen.
RTVM: Do you think Fran should have gone home last night instead of yourself?
Jamie Bisoulis: Here’s a the funny thing, I love Fran, she and I are close friends. She is extremely talented, I just don’t think she works well in that type of atmosphere. Yes, she did burn herself but I also burnt my arm as well on that episode and I didn’t even know it until after dinner service was over.
RTVM: So what was your experience like on Hell’s Kitchen working under Gordon Ramsay?
Jamie Bisoulis: Well, I survived [chuckles]. It was a great learning experience. Working for Gordon Ramsay was harder than walking through quicksand. On the very first day, you are just kind of thrown into the situation and Chef Ramsay hold his standards so high. I know that I will never, ever overcook a piece of salmon again…I think I still have salmon in my hair from that one [laughing].
RTVM: If you could go back and do it again, what would you do differently?
Jamie Bisoulis: I wouldn’t second guess myself. Sometimes others will come by and tell you to do this or that and then you start to question yourself. I would definitely have trusted myself more and cooked better.
RTVM: Do you have predictions on who you think is going to win Hell’s Kitchen?
Jamie Bisoulis: Jay, I think he is a pretty strong contender.
RTVM: What advice could you give future contestants?
Jamie Bisoulis: Run. [laughing] And sneak more alcohol in there.
RTVM: What are you future plans?
Jamie Bisoulis: I am going to keep cooking. I am going to keep my head down and keep working hard. I would love to open my own place in maybe five years or so.
RTVM: Is there anything you would like to say to your fans?
Jamie Bisoulis: You mean I have fans? [laughing] Thanks for being supportive and keep watching because this season is only going to get better!
