The Bachelorette: Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego Says Producers Made Show “A Living Hell”

July 01, 2010 07:00 AM by Nancy Floyd

Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego, the entertainment wrestler at the center of the latest The Bachelorette scandal, is now passing the blame to the show’s producers. Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego denies the allegations that he went on the dating show with a girlfriend back home simply to find fame and insists he was trying to find love with Ali Fedotowsky, but he says the producers turned the experience into a “living hell” for him. Keep reading for more details…

The major drama thus far this season on ABC‘s The Bachelorette happened on Monday night’s episode when Ali Fedotowsky got a phone call from the longtime girlfriend of one suitor, Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego. The girlfriend, named Jessica, said that she helped Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego get onto the show to further his entertainment wrestling career. When Ali Fedotowsky confronted Justin, he didn’t do a great job proving his innocence, but now he’s trying to defend his actions by blaming the producers of the reality dating competition.

“The producers of The Bachelorette took this experience that was supposed to be an amazing moment that I will never forget, and made it into a living hell for me,” Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego posted on his Facebook page. “I would like to say that I was not in a relationship before I went on the show and I am still single now. I went on the show to experience an opportunity with possibilities of meeting the love of my life and creating great friendships that I can cherish for many years to come.”

Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego alleges that he wanted to leave the show after the trip to Iceland, but the producers wouldn’t let him. He says the voicemails that he left for Jessica (which were played on Monday’s show) were actually left after the producers denied his request to leave. “I left those messages when I was very confused and I was disgusted to hear messages with such private and personal content,” Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego says. “I am quite upset that they were shared with the world just for an amazing scandal. Those messages were actually left after I told producers that I wanted OFF THE SHOW in Iceland. Yes, that’s right! I no longer wanted to be a part of the show when we were in Iceland and wanted to get on the first plane home to Toronto!”

Justin ‘Rated R’ Rego also states that he won’t be facing Ali Fedotowsky or the audience for the upcoming Men Tell All special. “I feel betrayed, manipulated and unfairly lied to by both the Producers of ABC’s The Bachelorette and Jessica,” Justin says. “Due to the Producers of ABC’s The Bachelorette wanting this scandal created at the expense of my character, I will not be attending The Men Tell All. I will not give the producers of this show the opportunity to have the chance of editing me to their liking once again. Its truly unfortunate that the Producers of The Bachelorette took this experience that was supposed to be an amazing moment that I will never forget, and made it into a living hell for me.”
