Project Runway: Selma Blair To Help Select Finalists In New Season

Project Runway is returning to Lifetime for its eighth season on July 29th, but not without a few significant changes. For starters, the episodes will be extended to 90 minutes, instead of the typical hour. As if that’s not enough, a special celebrity guest will be helping Heidi Klum and Co. select this season’s 16 finalists. The eighth season of Project Runway will be kicking off on July 29th on Lifetime. The fashion designing competition has also been extended to feature 90-minute episodes each week, instead of 60-minute episodes. “We did get always a few complaints from people that they wanted to see a little bit more, which we were obviously very excited about,†host Heidi Klum says. “So now we have half an hour more.â€
When Project Runway returns for its supersized eighth season, it promises more fashion, more drama, and more reality. “We are not like other shows where we are styling them to look a certain way or feeding them lines,†Heidi Klum says. “It’s all real, and people like that.â€
