After six seasons of drama, fashion, love, and heartache, MTV‘s The Hills is coming to an end tonight! According to the show’s star, Kristin Cavallari, fans shouldn’t be worried about the fate of Brody Jenner, Lo Bosworth, Stephanie Pratt, or Audrina Patridge since most of what’s been portrayed on the show hasn’t been real. Kristin Cavallari opens up about her time on the reality show and how far from reality it really is…

For six season of MTV‘s The Hills, viewers have watched a group of beautiful 20-somethings search for love, friendship, and success in the spotlight of Hollywood. The series finale airs tonight on MTV and starlet Kristin Cavallari (who replaced original star, Lauren Conrad, in season five) opens up about the drama, relationships, and false reality.

“Nothing you see on TV is real,” Kristin Cavallari tells People magazine. “Fans need to understand it’s all entertainment. It’s all in fun. I would never put my close friends or a real relationship on a show.” After being unhappy with the way she was portrayed on the high school reality show, Laguna Beach, Kristin Cavallari says she took a different approach to starring in The Hills. “When I decided to come back and do The Hills, I told myself it’s just a job. It’s all work. It’s all fun,” she says.

Despite the fact that Kristin Cavallari is blatantly honest about the fact that most of the drama on The Hills is contrived and that none of the relationships are all that real, she has no plans to release a tell-all including behind-the-scenes secrets. “I don’t want to disappoint the fans,” she says. “I have such great fans, and I think a lot of them take the show seriously, and I don’t want to change their views. Besides, since I want to be a producer, I don’t want to give away any production secrets.”

As the show comes to a close tonight, Kristin Cavallari is satisfied with the finished product. “I feel like we all ended on a high note, we all had a great time, and I plan to stay friends with pretty much everyone,” she says.
