Dancing With The Stars: Tony Dovolani Wants A ‘More Able’ Partner In Season 11

After partnering with Kate Gosselin during season 10 of ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars, dance pro Tony Dovolani has higher standards for season 11. Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani notoriously struggled both on–and off–the dance floor throughout much of last season which is why he says he’s hoping for a ‘more able’ partner next time. During season 10 of ABC‘s Dancing With the Stars, the most controversial contestant, by far, was none other than single mother of eight, Kate Gosselin. The reality TV mom stirred up drama, started rumors, and conflicted more than once with her dance pro partner, Tony Dovolani. At one point, he even threatened to quit and walked out of a rehearsal. Not surprisingly, Tony Dovolani has high hopes that his next partner on the dance competition will be a little easier to work with.

“I enjoyed every bit of last season — well, most of it, I mean,” Tony Dovolani told People magazine about season 10 of Dancing With the Stars. “Next season I would like to have a more able partner, someone who doesn’t have so many distractions in their life. The producers know how I feel.”

Tony Dovolani and Kate Gosselin eventually made nice (for the cameras at least) but they still didn’t make it very far in the competition. Now that season 11 is around the corner, which celebrities is Tony Dovolani hoping will join the cast? “I would love to see Anna Kournikova come on our show [or] Jennifer Aniston,” he says. “I aim very high.”
