Real Housewives of New York City: Bethenny Frankel’s Reality TV Future

July 16, 2010 11:00 AM by Nancy Floyd

Bethenny Frankel has already found major success on not one, but two Bravo reality TV shows, but she’s expressed no interest in returning to The Real Housewives of New York City and Bethenny Getting Married? doesn’t seem that relevant now that she recently said ‘I do’ to Jason Hoppy. So, what’s next for Bethenny Frankel? Keep reading for more details on her reality TV future…

Bethenny Frankel’s down-to-earth attitude, witty commentary, and self-deprecating humor have been a welcome relief during the three seasons of drama on The Real Housewives of New York City, but the hilarious chef and new mom doesn’t know if she’ll be returning. After season three wrapped earlier this summer, Bethenny Frankel hinted that she wouldn’t be returning to season 4 of the reality TV show unless there were major changes made to the cast.

Fans of Bethenny Frankel have still been getting their regular dose of the celebrity chef on her spin-off reality show, Bravo‘s Bethenny Getting Married? which chronicled Bethenny Frankel’s foray into marriage and mommyhood. But now that Bethenny Frankel has answered the title question and actually gotten hitch, what’s next for her? Will the show continue?

“The best parts on my show are when Jason and I are sitting in the kitchen talking about nonsense, or something so stupid,” Bethenny Frankel says about the show. “There’s always going to be nonsense in our life and some of things that happen … you would not even believe could actually happen to anybody and they do happen to me.”

As for whether or not Bethenny Getting Married? will return for a second season remains to be seen. ”Nothing is definite. We haven’t discussed it yet, but I would imagine that there would be [a second season],” Bethenny Frankel says. “It’s the right kind of show for Bravo and I think it would be really well received.”

Bethenny Frankel also isn’t ruling out the possibility of adding another child to her growing family, despite the fact that daughter Bryn is only two months old. ”I think Jason’s planning on it. I’m not planning it,” she says. “We have a while to talk about it, because we’re just getting our feet wet and learning how to care for Bryn and this is all a huge adjustment.”
