Only two more days until the world knows the outcome of Ali Fedotowsky’s journey as ABC‘s The Bachelorette. On Monday night’s season finale, Roberto Martinez and Chris Lambton have one last chance to win Ali’s heart, meet her family, and propose to her in Bora Bora. While we’re not sure if Ali Fedotowsky picks Chris, Roberto, or neither guy, we do know what she’ll be wearing and details about her potential engagement ring. Keep reading for more details of Ali Fedotowsky’s finale fashion…
On Monday night’s episode of ABC‘s The Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky has to face her two remaining suitors, Chris Lambton and Roberto Martinez, as both presumably propose to her in Bora Bora. Us Weekly has reported that Ali Fedotowsky is engaged and planning a 2011 wedding, while Bachelorette blogger Reality Steve reports that Ali is still single. We’re not sure what the outcome is going to be, but we know Ali is making her decision in style.
For the final rose ceremony, Ali Fedotowsky will be donning a customized designer gown from Alberto Makali. The floor-length, strapless, champagne-colored dress is made of silk-chiffon and was selected for Ali Fedotowsky by The Bachelorette’s stylist, Cary Fetman. Ali Fedotowsky reportedly wanted a “soft and flowing” gown for the finale so the original dress was altered to meet her specifications. The straps were removed to make it strapless and some original beading work along the bustline was taken off.
“She wanted to look glamorous but also be relaxed and comfortable,” an inside source tells StyleList. Ali Fedotowsky selected the dress because it embodied everything she wanted for that moment. ”It really was her dream dress and she had no regrets,” the insider adds.
As for the engagement ring, it was designed by jeweler-to-the-stars, Neil Lane. No word yet on whether or not Ali Fedotowsky accepts it. ABC recently said the finale “does not follow the normal routine.” Another insider hints that Ali Fedotowsky did something unexpected in the final moments. ”It’s a great finale, terrific really, and not like any we’ve had on the show,” the source says. ”There are a lot of twists and turns, and it will be really really interesting for viewers to see how it turns out.”
