The Bachelorette: Updates On Tonight’s Final Rose Ceremony, After The Final Rose Special & The Next Bachelor

This has been one spoiler-heavy season of ABC‘s The Bachelorette and now, in the midnight hour, we’ve heard new spoilers about everything that happens at tonight’s final rose ceremony and After the Final Rose special! Ali Fedotowsky is in fact engaged (!!), there’s a shocking twist in tonight’s episode, and one of her top two guys will be the next Bachelor. Keep reading for all the details on tonight’s episode…
Up to this point, we’ve been reporting that Ali Fedotowsky chooses no one in the end and is still single. We report what we hear and we’ve just heard differently! ABC has done an amazing job of keeping this finale under wraps, but we’ve got the scoop on all that happens in Bora Bora, thanks to Bachelor/Bachelorette blogger, Reality Steve.
The surprising season finale of the Bachelorette which producers have said “does not follow the normal routine” is actually still a happy ending! All season long, we’ve been led to believe that Ali Fedotowsky dumps both Chris Lambton and Roberto Martinez in Bora Bora and is still single. Wrong. The truth is she chooses Roberto Martinez at the final rose ceremony and accepts his proposal, but she goes about it in an unconventional way.
Bachelorette host, Chris Harrison, hinted at the untraditional ending saying, ”It’s not the usual proposal day our fans are used to seeing.” We falsely assumed that meant Ali Fedotowsky sent both guys packing. In reality, she actually dumps Chris Lambton on their last-chance date, telling him she has fallen in love with Roberto and doesn’t want to put Chris through the stress of appearing at the final rose ceremony and proposing when she doesn’t share his feelings. Pretty honorable thing of Ali to do. This is the big “risk” that the previews have been hinting at. Fortunately for Ali, Roberto shares her feelings and the two are engaged!
As for the After the Final Rose special, there is one major disappointment about it: we hear that Frank (who eliminated himself in Tahiti to reunite with his ex) doesn’t show up! However they may or may not be announcing the next Bachelor, who we hear is Chris Lambton, if he wants the job.
In other news, we’ve also heard that Ali Fedotowsky and/or Roberto Martinez might be appearing on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.
