After delivering some strong, moving, and brilliant performances last night on So You Think You Can Dance, the top four finalists, Kent, Robert, AdeChike, and Lauren, eagerly anticipate tonight’s results show to find out which three will move on to next week’s finale. The three finalists who earn a spot in the season finale will be determined solely by America’s votes. Keep reading to hear what Kent, Robert, AdeChike, and Lauren have to say about the prospect of winning it all…
Last night’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance certainly showcased why Kent, Robert, AdeChike, and Lauren have made it to the top four. The night was filled with some unforgettable and unbelievable performances as the top four dancers fought for a spot in next week’s finale. With the judges, Nigel Lythgoe, Mia Michaels, and Adam Shankman, powerless to determine tonight’s elimination, the fate of this quartet rests strictly on America’s votes.
Lauren made an impression on the judges and audience with her two steamy, sultry performances last night. The first was an Argentine tango with All-Star Pasha and the second was a sexy jazz piece with All-Star Ade. “If they would have given me the two dances they gave me tonight in the first week I would have crashed and burned,†Lauren said after the show. Still, she’s thrilled to have made it this far and be the only female remaining in the competition. “I love being able to say I was the top girl,†Lauren told People magazine. “However, Ashley was injured and that’s the reason why she had to leave.â€
Small town boy, Kent, certainly seems to be the frontrunner this season, having never made it into the bottom three, although to him, he feels that he is at much at risk as anyone else.  “I feel like I have been in the bottom three which is so weird,†he said. “Every Thursday you just mentally prepare yourself to be in the bottom. Anything can happen.†His biggest goal on the show is to inspire others.  “I’m not from the best studio, I’m not training with the best, I’m not from a place where there’s so much opportunity,†Kent says. “I just want to let people know you don’t have to come from there. I feel like it really is inspirational to anyone.â€
Robert would love the chance to appear in next week’s season finale of So You Think You Can Dance but he isn’t holding his breath.  “I’m never going to expect anything. I’m never going to think I’m on top,†he says. “Whatever happens happens … but hopefully I’ll go to the finale. I’m starting to believe I can do it. It’s so close, and I want it so bad, so hopefully I’m there.â€
AdeChike is the dancer who had the roughest night with both performances receiving less than stellar reviews from the judges. Regardless of the outcome, he’s grateful for the opportunity and eager to start his career.  “At this point in the competition it doesn’t really matter,†he said. “If I go home now … if I go home next week, it doesn’t mater. It’s about the journey and that’s what means the most to me.â€
Who do you think will make it to the finale?
