Most of the contestants on ABC‘s reality competition Bachelor Pad are from recent seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, save one: Gwen Gioia who goes all the way back to season two! Gwen’s fellow competitors joked about her age on Monday night’s premiere, but no one actually knows how old she is. That’s because Gwen Gioia made sure her age was never revealed. Keep reading for more details on her big secret…
Nearly everyone competing on ABC‘s new reality show, Bachelor Pad, could be spotted on one of the last couple of seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Dedicated fans might remember Gwen Gioia, however, from her time on season two fighting for the love of Aaron Buerge way back in 2002. She seems like a bit of a wild card to add to the cast of newer, fresher, and younger bachelors and bachelorettes and the other contestants realized it.
Contestant David Cook joked, ”Is she a little older than us?” about Gwen Gioia on the first episode of Bachelor Pad and 25-year old Jesse Beck said that Gwen looked like a mom to him. While the ages of every other contestant was revealed, Gwen’s has been kept a secret, per her request.
Bachelor Pad host Chris Harrison addressed the age secret to Entertainment Weekly, saying ”You’ll notice instead of her age, there are question marks next to Gwen’s name. That’s because she told us not to put her age on the show.” According to Internet Movie Database, Gwen is actually 39 years old, a whopping 14 years older than the youngest contestants on the show.
