So You Think You Can Dance: Who Will Be Crowned America’s Favorite Dancer?

The votes are in and either Kent, Lauren or Robert will be crowned the winner on tonight’s episode of  So You Think You Can Dance. After each performing an impressive five times apiece last night, the top three dancers are awaiting their fate. It’s down to three final dancers on  So You Think You Can Dance and a winner will be named tonight. Last night, Kent, Lauren and Robert took the stage one last time to try to convince America that they had what it takes to be named America’s Favorite Dancer. Each finalist performed four routines with partners and one solo on last night’s episode and received some amazing compliments from the judges.
Kent Boyd certainly seems to be the frontrunner of the competition as he’s been a clear fan favorite from day one. Last night, his emotional contemporary routine with All-Star Allison made him a judge favorite as well. Adam Shankman in particular gave major props to Kent for finally becoming an artist in the piece. “I had to be an artist, there wasn’t more dances after this, so it was good that it came here,†Kent told People magazine after his performance. “I think I needed the piece. It really showed me something.â€
Lauren Froderman received perhaps the greatest compliment of the entire season when judge/choreographer Mia Michaels said she wished she could dance like Lauren. “That was an amazing comment,†Lauren said. “I don’t really think I can explain in words how it feels. I feel very very honored that she would say something like that to me.â€
Robert Roldan has seemed like an underdog all season, but he let his concerns go last night and proved his worth as well. “I just want to dance and let go and not worry about what people say,†Robert said. “This is it, this is all you get, this is the last one so I just wanted to go out there and dance my butt off.”
