Tonight on America’s Got Talent we learn which of the Wildcard acts will go through to the semi-final round on NBC. LeAnn Rimes and Criss Angel will perform live too! Judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel will select the final act to go through after America’s votes decide the first three acts to move on. Will Harmonica Pierre be heading to the semi-finals? Read on to find out the results!
Kruti Dance Academy, Rudi Macaggi, Michael Grasso, and Swing Shift Side Show are called out onto the stage to join Nick Cannon. He notes that two of Sharon’s Wildcards are on the chopping block – Rudi and Michael. America voted, and the act going into the semi-finals is…Michael Grasso! I really enjoyed Kruti, but Michael was the expected choice based on last night’s performance.
Criss Angel takes the stage to perform live. He invites the judges to put him in a straitjacket and then is hung upside down by his feet in the air. He escapes from it in seconds! Criss is then put into a locked box and escapes from it as well in a cloud of smoke – amazing!
The Hot Shot Tap Dancers, Anna and Patryk, and RNG are called to the stage to learn their fate next. After the nationwide vote, the act moving forward is…Anna and Patryk! This was predictable when you consider the live performances last night.
Joining Nick Cannon on the stage next are CJ Dippa and Connor Doran. Going through to the semi-finals, based on America’s votes, is…Connor Doran! CJ Dippa gives Connor props – it turns out they’ve been great friends since they met on the show. Howie tells him he’s so proud of him!
LeAnn Rimes bounces out to perform live in a two-piece swimsuit, and sings Swingin’ with a beach party theme! Fun!
Now it’s time for the judges to put through one final act. Remaining are aerial acrobats Ashleigh and Michael, Harmonica Pierre, and comedian Doogie Horner. But before the judges choose, one act has to leave the competition – that is Doogie Horner. Piers comments that both acts left on the stage are very talented, but he’s voting for Pierre. Sharon agrees that it’s really hard to choose, however, she loves Ashleigh and Michael who are edgy and exciting! Howie also says it’s tough. He tells Pierre he’s extremely talented, and tells Michael and Ashleigh they surprised them last night – he chooses the aerialists! They put on a stunning show last night and deserved it – the judges got it right!
Next week the semi-finals begin!
