He may seem like the helpful, friendly mentor on Project Runway, but Tim Gunn has a lot to say about the fashion world—and most of it isn’t so nice.

Gunn’s new book, Gunn’s Golden Rules, reveals some of the ridiculous stuff that goes on behind-the-scenes in fashion. He recalls seeing Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, being carried down flights of stairs by her bodyguards, and also catching another Vogue editor being fed grapes in the greenroom.

Gunn doesn’t just go after the Vogue staff, but also calls designer Isaac Mizrahi a spoiled snob. He even told the New York Post that he was kinder to Mizrahi than he should have been. “Oh, please, I was so kind to him. I mean, I wouldn’t have the words to describe some of the more abhorrent behavior. He really is a terrible, terrible, terrible person,” he said.

The book isn’t all about the extravagance of the fashion world. Gunn also writes about himself and his upbringing. He writes about past relationships, his distant mother and his decision to be celibate.

The book, available this month, sound like it’s going to be a juicy read!
