Top Chef: Producer Laughs Off Emmy Fall

September 06, 2010 04:00 PM by Lisa Princ

On what was a shining moment for Bravo‘s Top Chef as the show took home an Emmy Award, one of the show’s producers took a fall as she got up to head down the aisle. Erica Ross is not upset about all the videos circulating the web about her fall, but instead she laughs it off. Keep reading to hear what Erica blogged after the fall!

One of Top Chef on Bravo‘s producers, Erica Ross of Magical Elves was not at all upset over her fall at the Emmy’s, in fact she blogged shortly after laughing it off. Speculation had been that she was tripped but after reading Erica’s thoughts, we believe she just had a stroke of bad luck….at least that is what she believes, and thank goodness she has a sense of humor.

Here an excerpt from Erica’s blog: “It never crossed my mind that we would actually win. My heart wasn’t pounding and my face wasn’t red. My shoes weren’t even strapped on. And this apparently was a really BAD idea! Excited and in shock after the announcement, I lost one shoe before I even made it to the aisle. And then, it happened … I tripped over something! As I was airborne I kicked off my other shoe, made an off-camera recovery, and walked on the stage barefoot and proud. Little did I know my trip was caught on camera and in my 15 seconds of fame I became an Emmy Award winner and an Internet sensation!!” and she went on to sign her entry “Girl Falls at Emmy’s signing off!” We are so glad you are okay Erica!

Be sure to tune in next week for another new episode of Top Chef on Bravo!
