September 10, 2010 11:00 AM by Lisa Princ

Apparently, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is not the only cast member of Jersey Shore on MTV making headlines these days. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is now facing given her sentence for the charges on her arrest from a little over a month ago, even being called “obnoxious” by the judge! Keep reading for all the details!

MTV’s Jersey Shore diva, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was finally sentenced for her unruly behavior after pleading guilty, she was was ordered to perform community service and pay a $500 fine on September 8. The judge in her case did not go easy on her referring to Snooki as a Lindsay Lohan wannabe and saying “Going through life rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent – that’s not the way you want to live your life.” and he finishes with “Hopefully, this incident will impress upon you that there are consequences to your actions.”

So what does Snooki have to say about her sentence? She told PEOPLE magazine “I definitely thought it was harsh. I never drank and drove, I don’t do drugs. I do nothing that Lindsay does, so it was definitely a little overboard.” Snooki assures us that she is ready to move on and continues “I’m just really happy that it’s over and that the criminal charge was dismissed because that was just insane,” she says to the magazine, referring to the disorderly conduct and criminal annoyance charges. “I was really nervous about it. … That was crazy for me.” Hopefully she learned her lesson, but we will have to wait and see!
