Have you ever wanted to live like on of the The Real Housewives of DC? Now you have the chance because the mansion owned by Mary Amons and her husband Rich Amons is on the market! Keep reading to hear all about it!
According to the Washington Post, the mansion, located in McLean, Virginia, has been home to the Amon Family for 16 years and is 5,450-square-feet! It has six bedrooms and features a four car garage. Mary Amons has no immediate plans on where she intends to move, although she does plan to stay within the Washington area.
An interesting feature to add about this mansion is that Mary had a Biometric lock put on her closet door, only accessed by her fingerprint, so that her daughters would not have free reign over her clothes and shoes. No word yet if that is staying intact in the house.
Mary Amons, who was born and raised in Washington, DC, has boasted about her political ties, including that her grandfather was best friends with Lyndon B. Johnson, and that she had fond memories of hanging out at the Kennedy House when she was younger. Mary Amons is a mother of five and also helped found Labels for Love, which runs the popular District Sample Sale, a semiannual shopping-for-charity event
