September 12, 2010 02:25 PM by Rebecca Ford

Project Runway season seven winner, Seth Aaron Henderson, is teaming up with a solar technology development company to create a solar a line inspired by solar technology, but it won’t be shown at New York Fashion Week. You’ll have to wait another month!

New York Fashion Week may have taken over the fashion world for the week (including a Christian Siriano show that blew the audience away), but there’s even more fashionable wonders to come in the next month. Project Runway alum Seth Aaron Henderson’s line will premiere in October during Portland Fashion Week.

While his dresses are not solar powered, they are inspired by this technology. This will be Seth Aaron’s first show since his win on Project Runway.

The entire event is sponsored by SolarWorld, a developed of solar technology. “Solar is the New Black” is the theme of the event, and the runway will be composed of SolarWorld’s black solar panels.

Seth Aaron Henderson, a San Diego native, won the seventh season of Project Runway with his whimsical designs, taking the win with his finale collection inspired by 1940s Russian and German military women.
