MTV‘s Jersey Shore cast presented at last night’s Video Music Awards and while they had no problems posing for the camera, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and the gang would not speak to the press. Well, all but two cast members that is anyway. Keep reading for more details and to find out who did talk to the press!
MTV’s Video Music Awards is a place where the press normally has a field day, but not with the cast members of Jersey Shore according to The LA Times. They say as they were looking forward to their interviews, they were snubbed by Snooki, Jwoww, Pauly D., Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Ronnie and Vinny. The cast members did have time for a lot of photos, but no time for any interviews, or they just didn’t want to deal with the press. The LA Times did manage to speak with both Sammi “The sweetheart” and new cast member Deena Nicole.
When asked about her relationship with Ronnie, Sammi neglected to comment, but both girls were forthcoming about Snooki’s recent arrest. Sammi said “I actually feel bad that Snooki had to go through something like that. That’s a difficult situation.” while Deena commented “That’s ridiculous,” she said. “Snooki is beautiful inside and out. She has no bad bone in her body. And you know what? She had a little too much to drink and they blew it out of proportion. She is really a good girl.” So why did the rest of the cast snub the press? We may never know, but they sure are giving folks from New Jersey a bad name.
