Project Runway: Nina Garcia Doesn’t Agree With Tim Gunn
September 14, 2010 02:15 PM by Rebecca Ford
They may work together on Project Runway, but Nina Garcia and Tim Gunn haven’t seen eye to eye when it comes to one of the subjects in Tim Gunn’s new book.
Project Runway mentor Tim Gunn’s new book, Gunn’s Golden Rules, is getting a lot of attention in the press because of his description of Vogue editor Anna Wintour. He claims that he saw a group of bodyguards carry her down a flight of stairs, and other diva-esque behavior.
Project Runway judge Nina Garcia, an editor for Marie Claire, told UsWeekly.com that she did not witness this behavior by Wintour.
“She’s a brilliant woman who has done great things for fashion,” she said. “I am a big admirer of her and think she’s done great things for the business.”
Tim Gunn’s book has harsh portrayals of several fashion industry big-wigs, including designer Isaac Mizrahi.
