The wait is finally over as the much anticipated season eleven premiere of ABC‘s Dancing With The Stars kicked off tonight with some explosive performances and some not so hot performances. Keep reading to see if your favorite team rocked it or if they are in danger of elimination!

Dancing With The Stars on ABC premiered season eleven tonight and there were some hot routines, as well as some not so hot routines to the down right cheesy routines. You may be sorry you chose an early favorite after hearing how they all performed. Now let’s see how all the teams fared tonight, and remember it is only the first week so we need to go easy on them.

Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovalani
The first pair to take the floor tonight, they did well and looked adorable together. They did the cha cha cha and set out to set the bar very high, but they did not set it high enough. While Carrie Ann complimented Audrina’s looks they all felt she needed to keep working at it. Overall, they did fairly well ending up with a score of 19.

Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya
Kurt and Anna danced the Viennese Waltz and Kurt really surprised everyone at how well he did, well almost everyone that is. Bruno and Len were not in agreement on Kurt’s gracefulness, but I personally thought he did a great job and looked comfortable doing it. They also scored a 19 from the judges.

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer
Kyle and Lacey danced the cha cha cha and they were on fire. For being one of the younger competitors this season, Kyle did not look it at all in his routine. Carrie Ann even said he was her first crush of season eleven, while Len and Bruno were left wanting more. Overall they scored a whopping 23 points from the judges.

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke
Rick and Cheryl danced the Viennese Waltz to “crazy” and they did a beautiful job. You may have thought the height difference was going to be awkward with these two, but it was not at all. Rick was extremely graceful for such a tall guy and even Len commented on how he is looking forward to watching the two sports men battle it out next week. They scored 22 points from the judges, and Carrie Ann made sure to tell Rick that was indeed a fox!

Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel
Margaret and Louis danced the Viennese Waltz to “We are the champions” and it was just awkward. It looked as if they were trying to make it comedic, but it was anything but. It looked clumsy and very dramatic. The judges agreed that it didn’t work this early on and it was definitely overdone. They tied for the bottom spot with a score of 15.

Brandy and Maks Chmerkovskiy
Brandy and Maks also danced the Viennese Waltz and they did it wonderfully. While Len thought Brandy may have come off too strong, both Carrie Ann and Bruno were in agreement that this pair did fantastic, and I agree with them. They ended up with a score of 23 to tie for the lead at this point in the show.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas
Bristol and Mark danced the cha cha cha and as we already read in the spoilers, Bristol ripped off her suit like jacket to reveal a little dress, not too revealing though as we know she wanted to stay modest. They did a good job, but Bristol definitely look nervous, and even the judges said she needed to loosen up. After wards, Bristol told us that her mom, Sarah Palin was not in the audience tonight. They only scored an 18 from the judges.

Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas
Florence and Corky danced the cha cha cha and it was adorable to watch. Florence proved that even at 76 you can still be sexy, and I think most of us were stunned at how well she did those moves. Although, and the judges agree, that she did look a little confused at times, she did an amazing job….with Corky’s help of course. If nothing else, it was just a great show to watch and Florence had the biggest smile the entire time. They also only scored an 18 though from the judges.

Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower
Michael and Chelsie danced the Viennese Waltz to “Life after you” and in rehearsals we saw Michael admit that he was afraid of the dance moves. Michael looked very uncomfortable, and while he did not do horribly, he definitely needs to loosen up. Michael was very stiff and lacked any charisma while dancing. Chelsie on the other hand looked gorgeous but she did most of the leading in this routine when it should have been Michael doing the leading. The judges agreed as they only gave them a score of 16.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Karina Smirnoff
Ah, the much awaited performance of the pair who had the least amount of rehearsal time, a total of 5 days compared to the 3 weeks everyone else had. Mike and Karina danced the cha cha cha to “Break you heart” and the only good thing about this performance was the music. Bruno said he saw a faint spark, but I saw nothing more than a man full of himself, while Carrie Ann advised that he needed to lose the “80′s”. This pair fell very low on the score pole as well with a 15.

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough
Jennifer and Derek performed the Viennese Waltz and it was very emotional for all. During the rehearsals Jennifer expressed how much it reminded her of Patrick Swayze. All the judges agreed that the performance was beautiful, and Carrie Ann complimented that it was even more beautiful because Jennifer brought it “beautiful from beyond” in reference to Patrick Swayze. Both Jennifer and Carrie Ann teared up, along with most of us and the pair earned a well deserved 24 points. With that they topped the entire evening in points!

David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson
Last but not least David and Kym danced the cha cha cha to “Sex Bomb” complete with sunglasses and all. Kym was gorgeous, while David on the other hand, in my opinion was completely cheesy. Very disappointing since he was one of the early favorites. Even the judges claimed that he did not dance, and Bruno even referred to him as potpourri saying it was all madness and no dancing. The embarrassing performance for the Hoff earned the pair a measly 15 points and even that may have been too much.
