Tyra Banks has a lot to smile about. She’s the runner up for the title of top-earning woman in TV. Find out how much she  makes, and who beat her for the number one spot.

America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks not only produces and appeared on The Tyra Banks Show and America’s Next Top Model, but Banks also produced ABC’s reality show “True Beauty.” With so much TV stuff on her plate, it’s no wonder that the model and TV personality is the second highest earner for women in TV.

According to Forbes’s list of Prime-Time TV’s 10 Top-Earning Women, Banks earned  $25 million between June 1, 2009 and June 1, 2010. She was only beat out by TV host Ellen DeGeneres, who raked in an estimated $55 million with her ads (including Cover Girl), talk show and judge appearances on American Idol.

The list also included ”Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl, but mainly due to her success in feature films.

Eva Longoria Parker, Marg Helgenberger, Mariska Hargitay, Tina Fey, Ellen Pompeo, Marcia Cross, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Calista Flockhart rounded out the list.
