Ali Sweeny, Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels are back tonight on the season ten premiere of The Biggest Loser on NBC. Tonight, the trio head to seven cities to find two people from each city to head back to the ranch and become the season ten contestants! Keep reading for all the details!

The season ten premiere of NBC’s The Biggest Loser kicked off tonight as Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels and Ali Sweeny headed out to seven cities in their quest to find the next contestants to send back to the ranch. But you don’t think they will just give a free spot now do you? Of course not! Each contestant will have to battle it out in a fitness challenge for a spot at the ranch. Some of the hopefuls had to endure five hundred steps on the stepper, while other had to run a mile for their spot.

We watched in Oregon as Corey, a 27 year old life coach from Alaska weighing in at 391 lbs, was near the end of his run when his body gave out and he hit the pavement. After getting up and going again, Corey crashed yet again, which pushed him out of the running and instead we saw Tina, a retiree of 58 years of age and Burgandy, a mom of five and military wife both earn their spots at the ranch. Meanwhile, in Los Angeles we watched Adam, a 26 year old fight it ou in honor of his mother, who passed away from an obesity related heart attack.

City by city, more and more hopefuls were working their way in when they landed in Arizona and we met Shanna, a 38 year old cancer survivor who could not manage to make a spot, but she did manage to get a pep talk from Bob Harper, who assured her that she could do it at home. We did get to watch Jessica earn a spot in Arizona though, a 27 year old bridal consultant who is constantly belittled by her family over her weight, such a shame because she sure is a beautiful young lady, hopefully we will see her lose a lot of weight this season.

A few more hopefuls that we watched earn their spot on The Biggest Loser ranch were Sophia, a high school counselor who get not get over the loss of her brother who died tragically in a car crash, as well as Lisa, whose daughter had gotten extremely sick because she stopped eating and drinking as she did not want to be like her mom. Boston brought us Brendan who gave up the love of his because he says he didn’t love himself, meanwhile he teaches kids to be healthy, but he can’t get healthy himself.

We also met Elizabeth in Boston, whom was not always overweight but after dealing with an abusive husband, she turned to food for comfort. Unfortunately though, Elizabeth was injured during her fitness challenge and had to be taken to the hospital and luckily she is ok, but did not make the cut for the ranch. Be sure to check out our full list of season ten contestants.
