For months now the rumors and reports have been circulating regarding who would be replacing Simon Cowell as a judge on FOX‘s American Idol. In an official announcement this afternoon, FOX finally confirms who will be joining Randy Jackson on the judging panel! Keep reading for all the details!
Recently we have heard that Jennifer Lopez would be the newest judge on American Idol, as well as Steven Tyler. In an official announcement today, FOX has indeed confirmed what we already knew as they named both Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler as the new American Idol judges joining Randy Jackson!
Ryan Seacrest took the stage to make the announcement via live feed on American Idol’s website, but they were having technical difficulties, so we could not hear a word that Steven Tyler said in regards to his new position. The volume came back on the website after Jennifer Lopez took the stage to talk to Ryan about her new position as judge. When Ryan asked Jennifer what she could bring to the table for American Idol, Jennifer replied “I’ll be looking for the next Michael Jackson”. So there you have it folks, we have Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez for our panel of judges on American Idol.
