Want to try Hubert Keller’s food? Don’t go to Las Vegas. Top Chef: Just Desserts judge Hubert Keller closed his restaurant in Las Vegas last week.
The world-renowned French chef closed his Las Vegas restaurant Fleur de Lys this month.Â Fleur de Lys, located at the Mandalay Bay, is an offshoot of his San Francisco fine dining establishment by the same name. It opened in Las Vegas six years ago.
The restaurant will apparently reopen as a global tapas restaurant.
Hubert Keller made his debut as a judge on Top Chef: Just Desserts during last week’s episode, “Cocktail with a Twist.” He had also been a contestant on Top Chef Masters, where he placed third behind winner Rick Bayless and runner-up Michael Chiarello.
