ABC‘s Dancing With The Stars kicked off the second week of performances tonight with some big improvements from last week as well as some disappointing performances as our teams performed the Jive and the Quickstep. Keep reading to see if your favorite team rocked it or if they are in danger of elimination!

Dancing With The Stars on ABC headed into week two tonight and we saw a few improvements from last week as well as some lack of improvements. We also saw Sarah Palin this week in the audience cheering Bristol on and telling us how excited she was to be there and how she was enjoying the show. We also learned tonight on the show that our new Bachelor star will be Brad Womack. Here is a rundown of your favorite pairs did in the competition tonight!

Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovalani
Audrina and Tony choose to perform the quickstep and they did it to perfection. Audrina did not miss a single step that we could tell, you could tell she had been working hard and she also looked stunning in a flowing blue gown. This was definitely one of the best improvements of the week, and Len even said it was the best performance of the evening. They earned one of the top spots on the scoreboard this week with a 23 and it was well deserved.

Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya
Kurt and Anna performed the Jive to “Danger Zone” and they looked adorable, complete with their military outfits and all. They did well, and we got to see a humorous side to Kurt during rehearsals as he tried to help Anna get some moves together and then he went on to say one boo from an old Englishman didn’t matter to him (in reference to Len’s comments last week). Len, despite that remark (it was all in good fun on Kurt’s part) told Kurt that he went from the doghouse last week to the penthouse this week. Kurt and Anna scored a 21 for their total this week.

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer
After last week’s performance, could it be possible that this pair could do any better? You bet! Kyle and Lacey came out full of energy as they danced the Quickstep. During rehearsals, Lacey worked Kyle hard trying to get him in shape, but he looked like he had no problems on the dance floor tonight, I couldn’t even keep up with his feet. Len even called him a powerhouse of energy and excitement. They earned a well deserved 22 on this week’s scoreboard.

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke
Rick and Cheryl danced the Jive tonight to “tush” and it was complete with the word tush written across Cheryl’s tush and lots of tush smacking. They were great yet again and I am still amazed at how well they perform together despite their size difference. The judges loved them as well and gave them a 21 this week.

Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel
Margaret and Louis chose the Jive this week for their performance, and while they definitely improved from last week, Margaret still needs to work on her steps and her facial expressions. Len thought she was full of energy and needed to keep working on her moves, while Bruno advised her to start tightening her buttocks during her routines. They did fare better than last week though as they earned an 18 tonight on the scoreboard.

Brandy and Maks Chmerkovskiy
Another performance that we were looking forward to, and I have to say most of us were disappointed in this couple this week. Brandy and Maks danced the Jive to “Magic” but they did not look nearly as good as they did last week…dance wise that is, they did manage to look adorable in their costumes. They earned a 21 on the scoreboard this week.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas
Bristol and Mark danced the Quickstep to “Can’t Hurry Love” tonight and it was a huge improvement from Bristol’s nervous performance last week. This week Bristol looked gorgeous, relaxed and she was gleaming from ear to ear which made her dance a lot better. Maybe it was because her mom was in the audience this week or because she got to bring Mark home to Alaska, either way it worked. Carrie Ann compared Bristol to Kelly Osbourne and Bruno said she needed to become and actress more now that everything else is working so well for her. They earned a 22 this week on the scoreboard.

Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas
Florence and Corky danced the Quickstep and Florence proved once again that she has moves. She moves better than some that are half her age. She looked a lot more relaxed and less confused by the steps than last week, which was a huge feat for her considering how tough the Quickstep actually is. Florence also looked fabulous in a long, flowing, black, sequined gown. The pair earned a 19 this week on the scoreboard.

Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower
Michael and Chelsie chose to perform the Jive to “Hound Dog” tonight and it was extremely disappointing. Michael did not seem to take rehearsals all that seriously, but in his defense he was sick. He also did not seem to take the judges critique last week to heart as he still looked very stiff, despite his best efforts to smile and move around better. If this couple comes back next week, Michael is going to need to make serious improvements. These two were in the bottom alone after their measly score of 12.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Karina Smirnoff
Mike and Karina danced the Quickstep and it was quite an improvement from last week. With that said, Mike still needs a lot of work. Len commented that it was definitely better than last week, but Carrie Ann pointed out that he has no musicality and he needs to learn to get into his music more. She also said he was pigeon toed, and honestly to me it looked like he was about to step on Karina’s feet a few times. They earned an 18 on the scoreboard, not great but not in last place either.

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough
Jennifer and Derek performed the Jive to “Shake It” and just when you thought these two could not get any better, they just did. They rocked the house tonight, that really sums up their performance. They were hot together and didn’t miss a beat. The judges agreed as once again Jennifer and Derek topped the scoreboard with a 24 point total.

So there you have it folks, we have Jennifer and Derek in the top spot again with 24 this week, while Michael and Chelsie are in the bottom with 12 points, followed by Mike and Karina and Margaret and Louis who both had 18 points total. Make sure to vote if one of the bottom three couples is your favorite, every vote counts!
