The desserts presented on Top Chef: Just Desserts look really, really good. Every. single. dish. But for the vegans of the world, these desserts, packed with eggs and milk, become inedible. So a vegan website it taking on the task of veganizing each episodes winning dish.
The website, Vegansaurus, is enlisting some of the best vegan chefs to help change the weekly winning recipes from Top Chef: Just Desserts into friendly, non-dairy versions. These vegan bakers will write out the vegan recipes and take photos of their own vegan concoctions.
The first week’s recipe was made by the creator of the blog, VegNews Editor-At-Large Laura Hooper Beck. The second week’s recipe was created by the owner of Vegan Feast Catering, Janet Hudson. I would love to hear from regular people who tried to make these recipes to see if they tasted as good as the desserts on Top Chef look.
If you’re looking for some vegan recipes of the scrumptious winning dishes on the show, this is the place to go! Do we see another spin-off in the making? Top Chef: Vegan?!
