Regret is piling up higher than the Washington Monument over at Bravo’s Real Housewives of DC. We already told you about how much Real Housewives star Cat’s (now ex-husband) Charles Ommanney regrets doing the Bravo show, and now, Cat is sharing her mixed feelings about her role on the show. Read on to find out what she said!
The Daily Beast recently interviewed the British star where she revealed intimate details about her life post show.
“I’m not in a very happy place,†says Ommanney, who’s emerging as the show’s surprising star (the anticipated scene-stealers, Tareq and Michaele Salahi, appear predictably plastic in comparison.) “Now I’m three stone lighter, and I’ve lost all my family.â€
Along with that, her relationships with the other Housewives have been rocky at best and, thus far, Cat has definitely come across as the mean girl of the Bravo show.
“I think there’s always got to be a villain in any show. But I didn’t imagine myself to be set up to be the villain.â€
Ommanney has a right to be angry though, the show ruined her marriage after it became too much to bear for Charles and he left her (after she moved from the UK to America to be with him). Now she is truly alone, as her two children have recently been sent back to the UK to attend boarding school.
So, what does the future hold for this reluctant star? Unlike her co-stars Michaele and Tareq Salahi, who were politely asked not to come back next season, Cat has mixed feelings about returning for season two. But you never know, fame and all its trappings can be very tempting, so only time will tell.
