ABC‘s Dancing With The Stars is back tonight with story time! The couples must dance either the Foxtrot, the Waltz or the Samba and we had some performances that were on fire, while others were not so hot! And what is this about Michael Bolton returning? You’ll have to keep reading for all the details!

On ABC’s Dancing With The Stars tonight, we got word that Susan Boyle would not be performing at tomorrow’s live results show, but Michael Bolton would be stepping in to perform instead as Susan Boyle has come down with a sore throat. Maybe we will see Michael Bolton and Bruno make up tomorrow, but for tonight here are how the couples fared in week three.

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke
Rick and Cheryl performed a smoking hot Samba. It was actually a bit comical as Cheryl was dancing on a bar and for the first time this season was taller than Rick who was playing a loser. It ended up with some shirt ripping from Rick, and the judges agreed that it was hot. This couple seems to get better every week and they earned a well deserved 24 this week from the judges.

Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas
Florence and Corky performed a Waltz to the sound of music. It was sweet and emotional, but it looked like Florence was a bit off to me, although she looked beautiful. The judges criticized her feet, but gave the pair a 20, so all in all it was better than last week for these two.

Brandy and Maks Chmerkovskiy
Brandy and Maks performed the Samba and portrayed a bodyguard type storyline. I thought they were hot hot hot, but Len had some mixed feelings saying that Maks did not portray a bodyguard that well and Maks seemed a bit annoyed as he told Len the Samba did not originate in England. In any event, Bruno and Carrie Ann loved them and they earned a 24 this week.

Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovalani
Audrina and Tony, just when you think it doesn’t get any better, it does. This was definitely the showstopper tonight as they waltzed to a story of military man returning home. It was beautiful, graceful, emotional and just perfect. The judges gave them the highest score of the evening with a 26. And Tony showed us that he remained true to his bet last week as he had his legs waxed…ouch!

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough
Jennifer and Derek were consistently good yet again as they performed a teacher and student story line while they danced the Samba. Len even called them an irresistible force. It was a hot performance, although not as clean cut as their normal performances, but it earned the pair a well deserved 24 from the judges.

Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel
Margaret and Louis performed a Samba to “copacabana” and it while it was definitely the most colorful performance of the evening, the pair’s gay pride storyline did not go over as well, but it was not due to the actual story, just due to Margaret’s lack of improvement on the dance floor. Her footwork was not good and she just looked clumsy. They scored in the bottom tonight all alone with an 18 total from the judges.

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer
Kyle and Lacey are just cute as a button together. They performed a Waltz while giving an adorable story of a chance coffee shop meeting turning into love. It was sweet, they danced great and Kyle seems to get better every week. They earned a 23 this week from the judges.

Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya
Kurt and Anna performed the Foxtrot to “bad day” and it was good yet comical. It started off with a rain shower until these two hooked up and started dancing in the sunlight. During rehearsals, Anna actually made Kurt have a tea party with his small daughters, it was adorable! However, I have to wonder if Bruno is going to get blasted for telling Kurt that his arms were all over the place as the crowd was heard booing after that comment. They did a good job though and earned a 23 from the judges.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas
Bristol and Mark danced the Foxtrot, despite the rumor that they would dance the Waltz earlier. It was cute as they started with Mark dressed as a bum holding a sign that read “will dance for food” but then it seemed to get clumsy. Bristol did not look very comfortable to me, nor did it look as she was improving. In fact I think it was a step down from last week. The judges gave them a 19 for the second to the bottom this evening.

The Situation and Karina Smirnoff
Mike and Karina danced the Foxtrot to the Black Eyes Peas doing a mad scientist routine. It was strange, it was entertaining, but was it dancing? I couldn’t tell but it was not much improvement here from what I can see and Len even told them that if that was the future he was glad he lived in the past! They earned a 20 for the 3rd lowest score of the evening in a tie with Florence and Corky, but I have a feeling they will sail through to next week.

So that leaves Margaret and Louis in last place with 18, closely followed by Bristol and Mark with 19, and a two way tie at 20 between Florence and Corky and Mike and Karina, so be sure to vote! Remember to tune into at 9 pm EST for the live results of Dancing With The Stars on ABC!

I wish I knew, he is NOT good at all and IMO does not get any better each week. I wish he would go home already but his Jersey Shore crew is probably voting, voting, voting, you know?
