The Bachelor: Sarah Bice To Sell Charlie O’Connell’s Engagement Ring

October 04, 2010 09:28 AM by Allyson Wells

Are you looking for a unique engagement ring? You might have your significant other consider purchasing a former ABC’s The Bachelor ring for you! The winner of season seven of the Bachelor, Sarah Bice, is auctioning off her engagement ring from Charlie O’Connell, brother of actor Jerry O’Connell.

Shortly after the announcement that former Bachelor Brad Womack gets a second shot at love, Sarah wants to rid herself of any reminders of the engagement that ended in April of this year. Sarah notes that even though the ring is a sad reminder for her, the ring is gorgeous and will make some other lucky girl very happy. The sparkler is being listed on eBay with an opening bid of $5,000, although it’s valued at $20,000. Normally, the show’s producers do not allow the women of failed relationships keep their rings. However, producers made an exception because Sarah and Charlie were together in an on-again/off-again relationship for nearly five years.

The pair both admit they need to move on. At the time of the break-up, O’Connell admitted they were constantly fighting and it was time to go their separate ways. Sarah recently told In Touch Weekly, “I need to move on, and looking at that ring wasn’t helping matters. It seemed like a bad omen to keep it. It’s a gorgeous ring, though, and someone will be very lucky to get it.”

While it is sad that the pair have ended their relationship, another couple could benefit from the duo’s split. Place a bid and it is possible you could purchase a ring for a steal of a deal, while capturing a piece of television history!
