Lauren Conrad, former star of The Hills, recently announced that she would be returning to reality television circuit with her own new show. While she was once coy with the details, she has now revealed some information about the new show.
Conrad spoke with US Weekly about what to expect from the new MTV show. Apparently, the show centers around and documents what it takes for Conrad to build a company from scratch. Lauren Conrad’s fashion label, Paper Crown, is the focus. The show will also feature two of her oldest friends, Maura McManus and Gary Samuelian.
Many are curious as to whether or not Conrad’s actor boyfriend, Kyle Howard, will be on camera. Conrad admits that she hasn’t ruled it out. “It’s hard to say yet if he’ll be on the show, certain aspects of my relationship I want to keep to myself, but it’s not like I’m going to stop myself from talking about him.” Perhaps Conrad has taken a cue from the disastrous time her former co-stars, Heidi and Spencer Pratt have had with their relationship being filmed for the world to see.
Lauren also adds that the show will differ from The Hills because they won’t try to hide her tremendous fame. Conrad said, “Then, PAs would hold back paparazzi so their shadows wouldn’t get in the way, now if a mic gets in the shot, it’s not a big deal.” The audience will now get to see how famous Conrad really is.
Conrad didn’t release other information, such as filming and air dates.Â
