The drama surrounding Bravo’s Real Housewives of DC star Michaele Salahi isn’t just affecting her own life, but also the lives of the other ladies on the hill. Mary Amons, married mother of five, has been particularity affected by the Salahi shenanigans and finally is speaking out about it. Read on to find out more!
Over the course of the first season, Amons found herself all tangled up in all the Tareq and Michaele Salahi drama. Everyone remembers the episode where the couple accused Amons’s oldest daughter Lolly of stealing and then joy riding their car. That, obviously did not sit well this this mamma bear.
According to Popeater.com, Amons says that her “real life has very much been affected by all of this.”
Well, when you sign up for a show based on cat fights, backstabbing and lies, you should know what your getting into. Still not as bad as The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the DC season has had it fair share of drama, despite low ratings. It’s the first non-hit Housewives offshoot for Bravo.
So, with the Salahi’s out and Cat Ommanney on the fence, will Amons be coming back for round two?
“If I do a second season, I think you’re going to hear more from me. Now I know the process and I know that I need to watch the wine bottles out on the counter,” she jokes.
That’s totally a yes.
How can you say no to all that fame? Amons, who, according to her bio, grew up in a wealthy family and spent summers during her childhood at the Kennedy compound, isn’t necessarily the most shocking housewife, but now that she knows how to play the game, maybe she’ll amp up her performance to snag more airtime.
“I was just saying to a friend that if you had predicted in my life a year and a half ago that I would be doing a reality show, I would have called you crazy.”
Watch who you call crazy, Mary, you might get slapped with a lawsuit.
