Dancing With The Stars celebrity dancer Rick Fox will be heading back to the NBA – but not as a player this time. Rick will be joining NBA TV, in conjunction with TNT, throughout the season as a guest analyst and he will have his first gig on Sunday. Rick needs to refocus as he will not be directly with the L.A. Lakers network this time around and he says “It’s the NBA as a whole now. This takes me out of my homer status.” You can look for Rick Fox on NBA TV this Sunday with Brent Barry at 5:30 p.m. PST.
So what does Rick Fox think about Dancing With The Stars on ABC? Rick calls the experience intense and says he never saw himself as a good dancer. Rick says “We’ve been going at this for about six weeks, and I can recall maybe one or two days where I’ve had a sense of relaxation, not only physically but mentally. The stress has been there since Day 1.” As for his dancing, he claims he has been self conscious in the past and goes on to say “I’ve had to conquer that fear and force myself to perform.” What do you think of Rick Fox’s dancing skills?
