Bravo’s hit reality show Flipping Out, featuring everyone’s favorite obsessive compulsive and maniacal boss from hell, Jeff Lewis, and the faithful servants employees who worship the ground he walks on, ended its season four run on a very high note.
Among total viewers, the hit show was up 14 percent over season three, according to Nielsen Media Research. I wonder if that had anything to do with the major drama in Jeff’s personal life? Or maybe it’s because Zoila is just plain awesome?
In addition to the stellar season overall, the season four finale was up 17 percent among total viewers than the season three finale. If you watched the season four finial, you saw Jeff and the gang fly to New York City for the exciting unveiling of House Beautiful’s Kitchen of the Year – which Jeff had frantically been designing from LA. Upon his arrival to NYC, he had yet to see the final product, and in true Jeff Lewis style, was spazzing out that it wouldn’t be absolutely perfect. Luckily, it was.
Also on the episode, Jeff and Jenni fought and there was speculation that she might be quitting the show. So I’m sure that played into the high ratings.
This season, which was way more design heavy than house flipping focused, averaged 1.20 million total viewers.
Next season will no doubt bring the drama, but will it bring the ratings too?
