Richard Hatch has been though an interesting journey since he first flashed into the spotlight back in the summer of 2000. In case you forgot, Hatch won the first $1 million prize on Survivor, competed in the competition a second time for Survivor: All-Stars, wound up behind bars on tax-related charges connected to his reality television winnings and now he’s selling pizzas. Yup. Hatch is servin’ up slices! What is this all about? Read on to find out…
Last week we told you Hatch is one of the contestants battling it out in Donald Trump’s reality hit — Celebrity Apprentice on NBC. The show is currently taping in New York City, and the cast of characters had a busy day in one of their tasks on Tuesday, which involved selling pizzas.
Billboard.com reports Hatch was joined by the other players on the men’s team trying to dish out as much pie as possible at Famigilia’s Pizza. It’s reported that Hatch, baseball star Jose Canseco and David Cassidy were some of the guys working to fulfill delivery orders. Other men said to be on the upcoming season include singer/actor Meat Loaf, rapper Lil Jon, country star John Rich and Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray fame.
Many people, including a few former Survivor contestants, were posting status updates on Facebook about Hatch selling pizza. Eliza Orlins of Survivor: Vanuatu and Survivor: Micronesia — Fans Vs. Favorites promoted the event on her status by asking anybody in New York City to stop by the pizzeria to purchase a slice for charity.
