Former Bachelorette star Jen Schefft recently invited US Magazine to view her nursery for her baby girl. She and husband Joe Waterman are expecting their bundle of joy to arrive in the next month. Jen said of the nursery, “There are stenciled flowers, a teapot on the table and even the lights are colored with moss.”
Jen revealed that the theme of the nursery is Alice in Wonderland. Jen explains, “I loved the book as a child and starred in a production of it.” The nursery was inspired by the garden party from the novel. Teapots and teacups are featured throughout the room. Jen wanted a real garden feel to the room and the chandelier features moss and purple flowers worked into it.Â
On the shelves, Jen brought in some sentimental items. She personalized it with her own baby shoes and silver items. All of the nursery items were purchased from PoshTots. Jen said she fell in love with the pieces that the store had to offer. The theme was shabby-chic furniture and Jen’s favorite piece is the $1,200 iron crib, which sits against a violet backdrop.Â
On the wall, there are three tea cups hanging near the crib. Each cup has an initial. One J for Jen, one J for Joe, and a M. While we now know their baby girl’s name will start with a “M,” Jen said that they are waiting for her arrival to reveal the full name.
Jen said of the Alice in Wonderland nursery, “It’s the nicest room in the house!”
